LG sent out invitations for a press conference on Monday night, teasing what looks like the long-rumored LG G4. The company appears to hint at a leather design for the new device, which is now set to debut on April 28.
A leather option could be a nice touch for the LG G4. We didn’t mind the metallic plastic on the G3, but it’s always good to have a few different choices. The invitation also promises that we’ll be able to see and feel “the Great,” suggesting we’ll get some hands on time with the new G-branded device.
We may already know exactly what to expect from the LG G4 thanks to a benchmark that leaked on Monday, which revealed a long list of specs for the new phone. It looks like LG packed in a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 808 processor, a 15-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM and Android 5.1. Earlier rumors suggested the device might also come with a G Pen stylus, though that may be saved for the G Note phablet expected later this year.
We’ll be covering LG’s big announcement next month live from New York. It’s likely we’ll see more G4 leaks before the official event, so check back soon for the latest news .
