LG G4 camera samples teased in new promo video

The LG G4 will make its official debut next week, and the flagship smartphone is set to pack an impressive new camera. Now, LG has revealed its first official camera samples in a new promotional video featuring professional photographer Colby Brown.

LG’s new smartphone will pack a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel shooter up front. The images emphasize the G4′s ability to take impressive lowlight shots thanks to its F/1.8 aperture, along with high color accuracy and shutter speed tweaks. The company also says it developed a new 0.11mm infrared filter for more natural colors.

The LG G4 will come equipped with a 5.5-inch 2K display, a “vegetable-tanned leather cover,” and an updated Android skin. The company is even offering South Korean shoppers a free one-time screen replacement and an extra 64GB microSD card, though that’s limited to LG’s home country.

LG is set to unveil the G4 at an event on April 28, and we’ll be covering the entire event live from New York. We have a feeling the company will keep teasing its new phone right up until the big unveiling, so check back soon for the latest news.
